Ecosystems!!

If two areas on separate continents have similar climates, do they have similar communities?  Explain.

  1. Most likely similar yes, because if the climate are similar, then roughly the same amount of time is devoted to.

  2. The communities will be most likely similar. They might be most likely similar because since the climate is similar, I think the habitat will be similar. Most of the living organisms might be similar because they are on separate continents.

  3. Yes they are most likely similar. If the climates are similar then it is the same amount of time to discuss things. For example the less time you spend on gathering things the more time you have to discuss art or math for example.

  4. Yes, because if the climates are the same, the species who adapt to that climate will separate and spread into different continents leaving the population to grow in different continents also leaving the species extant.

  5. Maybe because animals native to one area may not be native to another especially in the case of different continents. It also depends on the areas themselves for example, if they are near a body of water, elevation, etc also determine what kind of communities there are.

  6. I think they do have similar communities because of the climate and a community is made of various species living in the same area so if the climate is the same they will have the same species making their habitat.

  7. They shouldnt have the same communities because they have the same climate but are on other communities. They have different types of species and plants. The water could be fresh or marine bodies of water. The grass could have different effects on nature.

  8. Yes, they will have similar communities because the species will adapt to their region. If not they will migrate or move on to another continent.

  9. Even though they have similar climate's it does not mean that the communities are the same. The living specimens like plant or animal would not be from the same continent. For example two continents same climate it may not have same animals since the animals aren't in the same country of origin. Therefore the climate has nothing to do with the community.

  10. Yes , because the species that live in the same community would get used to the environment that they live in and their used to the same environment.

  11. Yes, because if their are different kind of species will get adapted to their habitat. Also if the location which they are in has the same kind of climate, then it would be easier to find food and necessary thing much morefaster

  12. In my opinion, both continents having the same climate does not mean that they will have similar communities because both are separate and they can have different resources and habitats that allow the community to either survive or suffer with not enough food, producers, and other species that are similar or that they aren't used to.

  13. I believe, that both continents having the same climate does not mean that they will have similar communities because with the same type of climate their will most likely be similar species but can certainly have different resource, which leads to the fact that the continents will not have similar communities because many animals will die do to the lack of food which means that the area will be empty real soon.
